Fright Eye - Black Holes MRLP39
How do you like your punkrock? Flippant, snotty, tough, catchy and with no bullshit, fresh from the underground? Fright Eye delivers.
They came out from the boiling Aarhus-scene in 2011 and has played across Denmark, put out three cassette tapes, four 7’’ singles and an LP with sneering and simple punk, that leaves room for anger, melodies and dark humor.
After two tours in Scandinavia and five in Europe, Fright Eye went in the studio to record their second LP with producer Jacob Bredahl. Bredahl is known for his vivid rockproductions, and with that background has captured and mixed the sound, so that Fright Eye stands sharply and intense throughout the album. Titles such as Ten Perverted Fingers, Glad I’m Not You and Fleshbag gives a good idea on how the trio approaches punkrock: Back to the roots, out there and with a punch to the face, like Dead Boys with a hint of hardcore.
Guitar and vocals: Nicklas Ellebye
